There is a meeting held at the office of the Chairman, J.B. Institute of pharmacy, Guwahati on 22 October 2021. The internal committee for sexual harassment is aimed at preventing inappropriate behaviour against specific groups of people, such as those based on sex, age, race, ethnicity, nationality, disability, mental illness or ability, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity/expression, sex characteristics, religion, creed, or individual political beliefs.

Function

To provide protection against sexual harassment of women at work, as well as the prevention and redress of sexual harassment complaints, and for matters related to or incidental to this.

Frequency

The meeting of the internal committee for sexual harassment will be held once a year.
